Cewe Photo Book Assistant - Create your photo book in just 3 easy steps.

The Photo Book Assistant tool will open automatically each time you create a new photo book. Here you can adjust the different settings for your design and the Assistant will create your photo book for you. On the 'Settings' tab you will find our great Advanced Auto Fill option.

Advanced Auto Fill - Groups images in order by either, event, time or file name.

With our Advanced Auto Fill you can choose from three different options for ordering your images. You can have them ordered by date, event or file name.

Sort by colour - Select photo's by colour.

The sort by colour tool is available in both the prints and photo book editing screens. When you choose 'Sort by colour' a pop up window will open with all of your images laid out by colour. Images with similar colours will be set next to each other so you can easily pick out a best copy from duplicate images or find a great contrasting image for your design.

Auto Image Selection - Helps select the best images from hundreds so you don't have to.

With the Auto Image Selection tool you can tell the Photo Book Assistant to ignore any imperfect images when creating your photo book. This can include duplicated images, blurry images and images with poor lighting. You can also choose to give preference to brighter images when laying out your photo book.

Image quality indicator - Helps you select the correct size for the resolution of your chosen photo.

When editing your photo book the image quality indicator will let you know how your selected image will look printed. A green happy face means that your image will be printed to a high standard; a straight, yellow face means that your image will be printed to an adequate standard; and a red, unhappy face means that your image's resolution is too small or has been enlarged too far to look good when printed.

Auto Image Correction - Each image is automatically corrected in our lab, making your images jump out from the page.*

The Auto Image Correction tool enhances each or your image individually at our lab. This is recommended for photographs taken directly from your digital camera. If you have edited your images prior to using them in your photo book we advise that your turn AIC off to ensure that your changes aren't lost or altered. AIC should also be disabled for images that were imported using a scanner.

Collage - Create a collage page or both pages of many photo's.

Our great new collage tool lets you select up to 199 of your images to be turned into a single or double page collage. Once the collage has been created you can fine tune it by moving, resizing or replacing any of the images.

Templates - Choose from the many templates and designs to create a truely personalised book, or design with out limitations.

By click on the 'Layout' tab in the photo book editor screen you can choose from our many layout templates to reshape your page design. You can also set your page layout yourself and then save it for future use!

Background - Automatically choose backgrounds to suit your photo's or choose from the many back ground supplied. Even use your own photo as a back ground.

By click on the 'Background' tab in the photo book editor window you can choose from our various high quality page backgrounds. You can also use your images as backgrounds by right clicking on your chosen image and selecting 'As background on this page' or 'As background on both pages'.

Text - Add text any where even to the books spine, choose from many colours, fonts and coloured back grounds.

In the photo book editor window you can add and style your own text anywhere on the page. You can add your text on top of images and even on the photo book's spine if you're making a hard or soft cover book.

Image editing / effects - Edit ever aspect of your image from hue to brightness and if you wish apply effects such as sepia and line drawing.

With our image editing tools you can adjust your pictures to be exactly how you want them. You can use the crop feature to cut out parts of the image you want to remove; or use the many built in effects to change the look of your image - you can even flip or rotate your image to make it suit your design better.

Borders - Add border of any colour and size to individual photo's, a page of photo's or the whole photobook.

Adding borders to your images can be a great way of making them stand out from your background. Used imaginatively they can also become great design features like mock-polaroids.

Zoom - Gives you pin-point accuracy with your design.

With our new zoom tool you can make sure every element of your design is positioned just right. Use the zoom tool along with the help grid for super-precise photo book editing!

Help Grid - helps position and align ever element on a page perfectly.

With the help grid displayed it's even easier to line up your images and text boxes correctly. Use the help grid to keep page border and image spacings standard and correct. You can even adjust the spacing of the help grid within 'Editor' tab in Options. With the help grid and zoom tool your layouts can be millimetre perfect every time.

Auto red eye - Automatically remove red eye from each individual photo.**

With the auto red eye tool you can remove red eye from your images as you add them to your photo book. When using the Photo Book Assistant tool the software will even detect images that have been taken using a flash and ask you if want them to have any red eyes automatically corrected.

Photo book preview - A full screen preview of your photo book.

The photo book preview feature gives you a fantastic, accurate preview of what your printed photo book will look like. Here you can flick through the pages of your photo book and check that all aspects are looking exactly how you want them to.

Save Layout - Create a great lay out and save it for use in future photo books.

When you have finished arranging a page and want to use the same layout in other parts of your photo book you can simply right-click on any element on that page and choose 'Save layout'. It will now appear in the 'Layout' section for you to add to other pages in the future.

Project Save - Create your Cewe photo book over time by saving your project as you go.

You can save your photo book project at any point by clicking on the 'Save' button in the photo book editor screen. This means that you can start a project one day and finish it whenever you want. Saving your photo books also means that you can easily order the same one again if you or a friend would like another copy.
