CEWE PHOTOBOOK Assistant
Step 1 - Opening the CEWE PHOTOBOOK Assistant

When you choose to create a new photobook the CEWE PHOTOBOOK Assistant tool will automatically open for you. You can also open the Assistant tool at any time by clicking on the assistant button at the bottom left of the photobook editor screen. At this first screen you can choose if or not you would like to continue and use the assistant. Click on "Use the Assistant" to Continue.
Step 2 - Selecting your Images

At the images screen you can tell the Assistant what images it can choose from for your design. Simply navigate your computer using the navigation window, ( 1 ) top left, to find the images you want to use. You can then drag single files or folders into the selection area to the right. Next, choose how many pages you want your finished book to contain ( 2 ) and beneath that choose the number of images that you want per page. The image capacity bar displays how many of your selected images will be used with your current settings. White area indicates that there are not enough images and spaces may be left blank, red area indicates how many images will be left out of the design due to a lack of space.
Step 3 - Choosing a Cover Type

On this next tab you can choose which cover type you would like for you photobook.
Step 4 - Choosing a Background

The backgrounds tab lets you select what types of background the Assistant tool will use when creating your photobook. Choose from black, white or image backgrounds. You can also select from subtle, medium and bold backgrounds to suit the tone of your design.
Step 5 - Layout Options

Here you can customise the settings for your photobook’s layout. Choose the amount of spacing you want for your images as well as angles and if they should overlap.
Step 6 - Advanced Auto Fill

Advanced Auto Fill works out how your images should be ordered through your design. They can be organised by events, dates an filenames.
Step 7 - Image Selection Tool

The Image Selection Tool becomes active when you have chosen more images than your design specifications can accommodate. By activating the criteria here you can tell the Assistant which photos it should include over others.
Step 8 - Creating and Ordering

When you are happy with your settings press the "Create Photo Book" button at the bottom right of the Assistant tool. The Assistant will now begin creating your photobook to your specifications. Within a matter of moments your photobook will set out for you in the photobook editor screen. You can now look through your book, making any necessary tweaks before sending it to be created.
