Image masks allow you to shape your images or to add gradient transparencies to them. In real terms this means you can turn your photos into a film strip or add a bottom fade with just a few clicks of your mouse. There are lots of different masks to choose from, here are few examples to give you an idea of what you can do with them:

Adding image masks to your images couldn’t be easier. When you’ve got your chosen image ready on your photobook page simply click on “Layout” on the left hand side. In the tabs beneath click on “Image Masks”, this will bring up thumbnails of all the available images masks.
When you’ve found the one you want to use just drag and drop it on to your photo. Bingo-bango, easy cake, you’ve done it!
